Road America, Plymouth, WI

Edited

Road America presents a varied experience when it comes to cellular reception. While the track itself is not bustling with activity, the signal quality remains generally robust.

As crowds gather at the track and nearby cell towers, the remote nature of the location leads to a rapid degradation in signal strength.

Cellular reception for viewing devices

The pitlane and paddock areas suffer from particularly weak cellular signal.

To guarantee a smooth live stream, it is advisable to conduct a speed test, ensuring your device maintains a speed of at least 5-10 Mbps.

During our evaluations, the most optimal cell reception for viewing was near Turn 13, located on the hillside.

On-track cell reception

A consistent dead zone and signal dropout can be expected between turns 9 and 10, with short skips.
