Loss of remote control / other abnormal behavior
Overview
If you experience a loss of remote control functionality or notice other abnormal behavior with your GPX Mobile device, the most effective troubleshooting step is to force close the app and reopen it. This straightforward process resolves most connection or functionality issues.
Troubleshooting Steps
1. Force Close the GPX Stream App
The GPX Mobile app runs in full screen. To access the control bar:
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the Android control bar.
Tap the square button to view all open apps.
Find the GPX Stream app and swipe it up to close.
2. Reopen the App
Tap the GPX Stream app icon on the home screen to relaunch it.
3. Check the CTRL Indicator
Upon reopening, verify the status of the CTRL indicator in the top left corner of the app:
Green: The control connection is active.
Red: The control connection is disconnected. If the indicator remains red, repeat the force close and reopen steps, ensuring you have a strong and stable internet connection
